Youth Radio's headquarters, located in downtown Oakland, has a front row seat for the city's monthly First Friday event. In January 2013, the event was rocked by the shooting of 18-year-old Kiante Campbell. Youth Radio interviewed artists, community leaders and First Friday organizers about their reactions for our "Reality Hits Oakland's First Fridays" video series.
