Mental Health Desk: Breaking the Stigma
Youth Radio has teamed up with The California Endowment to break the stigma of mental health. As part of the Get Your Mind Right! Initiative, Youth Radio is providing facts, resources and stories to encourage youth, friends and parents to learn more and reach out for help.

Teens React to CDC Study

An AIDS Quilt for the Digital Age This year marks the tenth anniversary of the AIDS Memorial Quilt—a project designed to increase AIDS and HIV awareness and memorialize thousands of lives lost to AIDS. The original quilt--made up of over 40,000 colorful panels—has become so big that today, the complete quilt can’t even be shown in public. The good news is young people are continuing its legacy. They’re bringing the AIDS quilt into the 21st century... by making it digital.
