Fast Food Dieting

"In almost every fast food restaurant, where you used to find only burgers and greasy fries, you can find some sort of low carb dish."

Listen to this Commentary!

By Lauren Blassengame

Diet and exercise are everywhere in America and there seems to be no escape. In almost every fast food restaurant, where you used to find only burgers and greasy fries, you can find some sort of low carb dish.

From McDonalds to Wendy’s, almost all fast food chains have caught on to the fact that healthy is better for their customers and, ultimately, their own pockets. With so many places catering to the needs of many health conscious people, it becomes just a little bit harder for you to say no to a healthier diet.

This health food craze, coupled with people’s urge to do such innovative exercises as pilates and kickboxing, could be the key to reshaping America, literally.

Fast food used to be the last option for me, but because of their healthier salads it has become enticing and even good.

It’s great that people have begun to care more about what goes into their bodies. Now fast food corporations are forced to care as well.
