Teenage Marijuana Abuse

Hi, I’m Avi from Get Yo Bandz Up on Youth Radio Raw and today’s roundtable topic is about Teenage Marijuana usage. Marijuana is the one of the 1st substance that Teenagers in the United States try. Many teens do not consider marijuana to be a harmful drug. Some believe marijuana cannot be harmful because it is "natural." But not all natural plants are good for you—take tobacco, for example. I thought that using this drug was an easy way to deal with my depression and anxiety but I got addicted. I am now in a program  that helps me deal with my depression and anxiety without turning to Marijuana. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, People who begin using marijuana before the age of 18 are 4 to 7 times more likely to develop a marijuana use disorder than adults. I was just wondering how other teenagers see this drug being used. 1: What do you guys feel is the biggest issue about Marijuana usage among teens? Be honest. 2: How often do you guys see teenagers using Marijuana? 3: Josiah, do you feel Marijuana is bad among teens? 4: So Ananda, Do you ever see people come to school high? What do you think about that? 5: Finally Keontay, since you and I go to the same school do you often see kids smoking during school hours? Do you think that is ok?
