On August 18th, 2015 Congresswoman Barbara Lee held a community forum at Brookins AME Church in Oakland, CA to discuss policing, church shootings, and racist policies in America. The event featured a panel of youth activists and Oakland Councilwoman Desley Brooks. Hundreds of people from the community gathered to listen and participate in the discussion, engaging directly with Congresswoman Lee and her panelists.
