Rethink: The App That Aims To End Cyberbulling
Imagine if there was a guardian angel that appeared right on your shoulder every time you were about to post something on social media who says, “Hey you might regret that!” That’s exactly what Rethink does. It’s an app that tries to stop cyberbullying by telling social media users to think twice before posting comments that could be hurtful. The creator of Rethink is a 14-year-old girl from Chicago named Trisha Prabhu who was one of this year’s 15 Google Global Science Fair finalists. Her biggest motivation to create Rethink was seeing on the news that cyberbullying can lead to suicide. Youth Radio reporter Kentrelle Hill had the chance to interview Prabhu about creating Rethink.
