Talking About Racial Differences With Dad

Jabari Gray, Youth Radio's Deputy Director, has always had a close relationship with his dad. But some conversations are never easy. Jabari's father Gerald is white and his mother African-American. The first time Jabari and his dad had a big discussion about their racial differences was about 20 years ago -- tools in hand -- clearing weeds from their backyard. Jabari and his dad sat down to reminisce about that conversation for NPR's 21st Century Man series.
